Privacy statement
This page says what this website knows about you when you write to me, what I do with it and what you can ask of me. Short version: only what you send me, only to answer you, and no cookies.
Who we are
This website is operated by Aleksandra Verkhovskaia, an independent language teacher based in the Czech Republic.

What personal data we collect
This website may collect the following personal data:
- name
- email address
- any information you provide when contacting me through the contact form or email
This information is used only to respond to your inquiry or to arrange lessons.
The enquiry form asks for your name and e-mail address. If you choose to give them, it also takes your telephone number, the course you are interested in, whether the lessons are for you or for a company, the company's name, the number of people and a message.
How your data is used
Your personal data may be used to:
- respond to your questions
- arrange and manage lessons
- communicate with you regarding lessons or scheduling
Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who receives it
The website itself keeps no copy of what you write in the form. When you send it, it is passed to the mail service Resend, which delivers it to my e-mail inbox, provided by Google (Gmail).
The website is served by Cloudflare, which handles the technical details a request carries, such as your IP address, in order to show you the page.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to agree to.
Data retention
Personal data is kept only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or maintain communication regarding lessons.
If you request deletion of your data, it will be removed unless legal obligations require it to be retained.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of your data
- restrict or object to processing of your data

You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
