Learning in a group
In a group you learn alongside others and pay only for yourself. I don't publish group dates on the website: a group forms around who signs up and when they are free.
I want to sign up- Signing up commits you to nothing. You pay nothing until the group is complete.
- A course starts once at least 3 people have signed up. A group has at most 6 people.
- We agree on the day, the time and how many lessons a week to suit the whole group.
- Do you have a group of your own, 3 to 6 colleagues or friends? Sign up together.
How the lessons work

Lessons are live over a video call. You can learn from home, from the office or on the road, with no commuting.

Everyone speaks
In a group, every participant speaks in every lesson and gets personal feedback. One-to-one, the whole lesson is yours.

Frequently asked questions
What level of Russian do you teach?
All of them, from complete beginners (A1) to the top of the European scale (C2), which matches the language of an educated native speaker.
What language are the lessons in?
Russian. Where needed I explain part of it in English or Czech, especially at the start.
What do I need for online lessons?
A computer, laptop or tablet with a camera. Headphones help you hear more clearly. You can take notes on paper or electronically, whichever you prefer.
Which app will we use?
Any free app that is comfortable for you. The most commonly used are MS Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and Yandex Telemost.
Can I use a phone?
Yes, but I recommend a laptop or desktop: a larger screen makes it easier to see the materials and to work on texts and documents together. If you use a phone only occasionally, for example while travelling, make sure you have a stable connection, headphones with a microphone and a quiet place.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
A one-to-one lesson can be cancelled or moved free of charge at least 24 hours in advance. A group lesson can be moved at least 24 hours in advance if all participants agree. Without 24 hours' notice the lesson is charged as taught, because we value each other's time.
Is the trial lesson free?
No, it costs €10. A paid trial lesson shows that both of us value each other's time, and the price is very affordable.
I don't know which course to choose. What should I do?
Take a trial lesson. We will find your level and I will suggest the most suitable course, or put together an individual plan.
Can I bring my own group?
Yes. If there are 3 to 6 of you, colleagues or friends, sign up together and we will find a time that suits you all.
Can I sign up a whole team from my company?
Yes, I offer companies tailored training, including level tests, a timetable that fits around work and attendance reports for HR. You will find it on the page for companies.
